Yes, including graphs, charts, and subsequent materials to support your big idea will be accepted with your application.

What if I am selected as a finalist but I cannot attend on the day selected?

Can I work with a team?
Yes, up to four people can compete together. Please refer to the Official Rules for a break-down of prizes for teams.

If my idea wins, will I be able to help implement it with Jimmy Fund staff?

What is the difference between Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund?
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a world-renowned center for cancer research and care (both adult and pediatric). The Jimmy Fund is the fundraising arm of Dana-Farber—helping to raise critical dollars to support the work of the Institute. While the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana-Farber is specifically for pediatric cancer care, the Jimmy Fund also supports adult cancer care.

If I submit an application, will my name appear publically in connection to the Contest?
If you are selected as a finalist or winner, we reserve the right to use your name for public outreach and news releases. Please refer to the Official Rules for more information.

What criteria will be used for judging the applications?
Judges will be looking for the idea that has the best chance for success. We are looking for an idea that has a realistic chance of raising $100,000 or more for Dana-Farber and has sustainability into the future. In addition, the application needs to cover enough background so that a Jimmy Fund staff member would be able to start preliminary implementation upon review.
